SAINT PETERSBURG Vladimir Shklyarov, a wonderful Principal dancer of the Mariinsky Theatre since 2011, an emeritus artist of Russia, has died suddenly in Saint Petersburg. He was born on February 9, 1985 in Leningrad, graduated from the Vaganova Academy in 2003 with VItaly Afanaskov and entered the Saint Petersburg company that same year. He married the soloist ballerina of the Mariinsky Maria Shirinkina in 2013 and was the father of two wonderful children, Alexey and Alexandra. The causes of his sudden death are currently unknown. The world of dance mourns a star, Danza&Danza joins the family in their grief and sorrow.
