BUCHAREST The National University of Theatre and Film "I.L. Caragiale" in Bucharest will award the title of Doctor Honoris Causa, the most important academic distinction, to Mr. Dimitris Papaioannou to honor the originality and innovative spirit of his entire artistic work. The event will take place within the first edition of the International Conference on Ceativity in Dance, which will take place from 2 to 4 April 2025 and bring together prestigious guests from the international academic environment. On this occasion, Mr. Dimitris Papaioannou will hold a conference about his work, along with a series of activities that will structure the entire scientific event: lectures, book launches, workshops, performances, and exhibitions.

The International Conference on Creativity in Dance aims to be a space for communication, constructive debates, practical experimentation with the most creative approaches to dance, the representation of the most innovative choreographic creations, and a platform that promotes the latest developments in specialized literature: books, manuals, and scientific articles.
