FRANKFURT AM MAIN April 1st is the deadline to register for the Master of Contemporary Dance Education offered by the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main (HfMDK). The audition will take place in Helsinki on May 18th and 19th and on June 7th and 8th in Frankfurt. The Master will start in October 2024

The English-language Master Contemporary Dance Education (MA CoDE) is aimed at experienced dancers, performers and choreographers who want to explore the foundations of their work in the context of a contemporary dance education. The goal of the training? To expand dance pedagogical fields of work in a forward-looking way and to build an alumni network to make mediation strong in the professional field. With this program, the HfMDK responds to growing demands and current artistic and pedagogical developments and opens up new perspectives for students in the mediation and institutionalization of dance. A degree program for individualists who develop a new basis for their work and the tools for concrete cooperation in the professional field in a strong peer group.

Scholarship program for MA CoDE students in Frankfurt

With the acceptance for the study place, students of the MA CoDE will receive a monthly scholarship of 500 euros for the first three semesters, thanks to a strong alliance of foundations.
