Jacopo Jenna’s Manifestus is set to embark on a week-long tour across Europe. The first stop is Bologna in Italy for the Gender Bender Festival on 6 and 7 November, followed by Charleroi in Belgium at the En Vogue Festival (on the 12th) and finally, on the 14th, at the Italian Cultural Institute in Prague.

The piece centres on hand, thought as conduit of power which transforms invisible energy into the world of form, and as an emblem of self-expression – a way of telling the world: ‘I am here!’. The choreography features three performers exploring an abstract mode of representation, blending non-narrative references and the codes of street dance practices, defining a complex, high-energy space in constant flux, manifesting through dance within the current of the present.
