Xiao Huang (1987, Chengdu, China) is currently a Ph.D candidate in Visual, Performing and Media Arts at the University of Bologna in Italy, with a research focused on Screendance Studies under the supervision of professor Elena Cervellati. She received a Master’s Degree in Contemporary Dance from The National Academy of Dance of Italy. Winner of the International Cinematica Videodance Competition 2018 in Italy, finalist of the Premio Roma Danza 2018 International Choreography and Dance-Video Competition Award, and selected for the Official Selection Screenings in the 2018 edition of the Fashion Film Festival Milano.
